Handala
Handala is a cartoon figure of a ten-year-old Palestinian boy created by political cartoonist Naji Al Ali. Handala will remain ten-years old until Palestinians' right to return to their homeland is actualized. Handala is almost always seen with his back turned and his hands crossed behind his back as a symbol of his refusal to shake hands with those who make compromises on Palestinian rights.
